He's quite naughty.
He's not listening
to the old
woman who
made him
Stop running
He doesn't want
to be eaten
The old woman
and her husband
want to eat
him
They're in a
cottage in the
woods - in the kitchen
He wants to
escape
He feels nervous
and frightened
He's freshly
baked.
He smells
nice!
The old woman
is old - she has
grey hair
and wrinkles
She's hungry
but she's also
cross.
She just made
one gingerbread
man.
Her husband
wanted some
gingerbread
men.
She only had
enough to
make one
and because
she's kind
she was going
to share it.
I'm looking
in thinking
"I want some"
I think I might
try and grab
him for myself
I'd break his
head off
then his arms
then his legs
Then I "might"
give the old
woman one leg
and her husband
one leg.
I'd feel happy
because it
was something
I've got that
I want
"good things
come to those
who wait"
I've had to
wait for quite
a few things
It was
definitely
worth the wait
The old lady
did bake it
so she probably
isn't too happy
with me
but something
is better
than nothing
I'd take it
with me.
I'd save the
best bit
till last - the
head.
I'd wait till
nobody was
around
so I don't
have to share
I have to share
I have quite
a few children
They always
want what
I have.
It feels really
good to have
something of
my own.
but I feel
quite
guilty
I always want
to please.
Maybe I
should be
sharing - even
though I deserve
it.
Maybe tea.
In my own
kitchen.
Early in the
morning - no-one
around
I can smell
the gingerbread
man
I can hear
nothing.
It's silent.
If I could have
something of
my own...
It would
be a crown.
A sparkly blue
crown.
It makes
me feel special.
That I'm the
only one
except the
queen -
who has a
crown
It makes
me feel
important
I crowned
myself
I made it
myself
The best thing
about it is
that it
sparkles
It makes
me feel
strong
It makes
me realise
my own
strength
I hide it
when others
are around.
I hide it in
the kitchen
cupboard.
